TK6 Thermal Imaging Camera

The TK6 is a handheld thermal imaging camera that detects infrared radiation emitted by objects and converts it into temperature readings displayed as a thermal image. It is designed for electrical inspections (detecting hot spots in panels/breakers), HVAC (checking AC performance and duct leaks), building diagnostics (identifying moisture and thermal bridging), and mechanical maintenance (monitoring motor and bearing temperatures).

The TK6 features an Uncooled Infrared Focal Plane Detector with a high resolution of 384×288 pixels and a 17μm pixel pitch, offering greater detail than entry-level models. It has a thermal sensitivity (NETD) of <40mK@30°C. The lens offers a 25°×19° Field of View (FOV) with a spatial resolution (IFOV) of 1.14mrad (allowing detection of smaller targets at greater distances) and a minimum imaging distance of 0.15m. It features manual focus — simply rotate the focus ring on the lens for precise image clarity.

The temperature range spans from -20°C to 550°C, with manually switchable spans of -20~120°C and 0~550°C. The measurement accuracy is ±2°C or ±2%, whichever is greater (tested at 15~35°C ambient, target >0°C, calibrated at 1m).

The device offers four image modes:

• Infrared Image: Full thermal view.
• T-DEF® Blend Mode: Combines thermal and visible images with adjustable transparency (0% to 100%).
• Picture-in-Picture (PIP): Overlays a thermal image on a visible light image.
• Visible Light Image: Standard digital camera view.
  It supports 6 color palettes (Rain, Iron, Grey, Rainbow, GreyRed, GlowBow), palette inversion, and manual temperature span adjustment (minimum 2°C).

T-TWB® (High Temperature Difference Equalization) optimizes images with a large dynamic temperature range, revealing hidden thermal details in scenes that contain both very hot and very cold objects.
Color Alarms allow you to highlight specific pixels that fall above a certain temperature, below a certain temperature, or between a specific temperature range.

The TK6 uses a 3.6V, 5000mAh rechargeable lithium battery that provides ≥4 hours of continuous operating time (depending on the environment). The battery is field-replaceable and shares the same model as other TK and TD series devices. You can charge it by placing the battery in the included charging dock (5VDC input) or by keeping it in the device and plugging a USB Type-C power adapter directly into the camera.

Yes. The TK6 has a built-in Class 2 laser pointer (Wavelength: 650nm, Power: <1mW) to help you visually pinpoint the exact target you are measuring.

You can transfer image files by connecting the TK6 to a computer via the USB Type-C port, which accesses the hot-swappable TF card (FAT32 format, supports up to 32GB). For in-depth post-inspection analysis, the TK6 fully supports the AnalyzIR professional thermal imaging analysis PC software.

You can perform an offline firmware upgrade by placing the .zip upgrade package on the TF card and navigating to Device Menu → Settings → Device Set → About → System Update. The device supports 11 languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Thai.

The standard configuration includes the main unit, 1 rechargeable lithium battery, a charging dock, a power adapter, a USB Type-C cable, a 32GB TF card, a calibration certificate, and a quick start guide.
Optional accessories include extra batteries (C251242), extra charging docks (C251245), a portable soft bag (C251333), a hard carrying case (C251338), and professional temperature calibration services.

The device features a 3.5-inch IPS LCD touchscreen protected by Gorilla explosion-proof cover glass. It measures 243mm × 95mm × 142mm and weighs 720g (plus 150g for the battery). It has a UNC 1/4-20 tripod connection and carries an IP54 rating (protected against limited dust ingress and splashing water).
